The artwork was conceived in deliberate contrast to the bold, saturated energy of their debut, shifting toward a more restrained and emotive visual language that reflects the album’s romantic, nostalgic undercurrent. The physical releases further expanded the concept, with two limited vinyl editions, Lovesick Pink pressed on pink vinyl and Sentimental Blue pressed on blue vinyl, each colourway reinforcing the duality and mood within the title. Four cassette editions were also produced, each featuring an individual band member on the cover, creating a collectible series that celebrated the group’s identity. With full creative freedom and close collaboration with band member Chris Chaney, I embarked on crafting an enticing package to honor this iconic 4x platinum Australian rock album. The 2LP set boasts gatefold packaging adorned with an inside collage, all enveloped in a captivating mirrorboard sleeve. Additionally, the package contains new inner sleeves, a 32-page booklet filled with photos and memorabilia sourced from the band's personal archive, and striking 2x red and black splatter vinyl.
