London-based songwriter and producer Ru Davies’s project, Maigret Jnr has been described as being welcomed home on a cold, wet autumn night. His vocals are both hauntingly isolated against the muted piano, guitar, and percussion accompaniment, and filled with a soothing warmth. Maigret Jnr’s debut release was treated with uniquely bold type and surreal imagery created by combining two images.
